Ok, I've done a search on this, found a few pertinent threads, tried the suggestions, and to no avail...Restarted my phone, reinstalled drivers, none of it worked.

The problem is, on the phone connectivity monitor, when I place my P900 onto the dock, it detects it via USB (which is correct. The dock is plugged into the USB)

It says the connection USB is enabled (the box next to it is ticked) COM port COM4 (don't know if that's relevant) And Status: Connected.

But when I open the PC suite (of which I have the latest version) it has a little icon with a blue questionmark on it saying "Not Connected" (which is of course, contradicted by my connection monitor)

I've tried everything I've been able to find on the problem available in this forum, but to no avail...does anyone have any suggestions? The phone was running fine before, when I put it on the dock, the little green light still lights up. The phone's there but...not there, which makes as little sense as it sounds like.

Could anyone help a poor, (and moderately frustrated) P900 user? :S

Hi Deframer
Welcome to ESATO

If you have any other anti virus or firewall software loaded you may need to configure them to allow your PC to see the P900 it may be worth checking to see if the windows firewall is switched on if you have Win XP SP2.

I had a similar problem with my old P800 and what I did was to uninstall all the software then shut the machine down completely e.g switch it off.

Then re start the machine and switch off all anti virus and firewall software then try re installing the software as per the manual instructions.

If you have more than one USB port on the machine try all the above but then use a USB port that you know is working

Not sure if this helps but it is the best I can come up with
