OK I have searched high and low on here and tried everything suggested but nothing will solve my problem.

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with built in bluetooth. I can transfer files etc flawlessly using the toshiba bluetooth stack facility provided with the laptop. I can also use the cradle to synch the phone to the pc. The phone connection link also shows that usb is connected ok. I can also surf using opera as long as I leave the phone in its cradle

Now my problem is that no matter what I do I cannot get the phone connection link to work with bluetooth. I have the bluetooth phone on com 41 and when I click on it in the connection link nothing happens, no connection whatsover. So i cannot surf with opera over bluetooth.
I have no "my bluetooth places". I guess this only installs if you have a seperate dongle. I have Phone monitor and bluetooth local com in the control panel.

I have been trying for weeks to get this to work to no avail.

Can someone please help because I am at the end of my tether,

Thanks.

Try here, I don't know if it will help since you stated you don't have dongle, but it's worth a try. http://home.wanadoo.nl/jeroen[....]800%20Bluetooth%20internet.htm
Also is there a way for you to make a bluetooth serial connection with phone and PC?
