Finally, good news for any K700 gamer! I got Splinter Cell PT in 3D Demo to work on my K700!

(The English version of this demo seems to be buggy on K700. You should read the first PAGE of this thread before continue.)

Here are the steps for you guys:

1. Download the main java file from SE's official site: http://www2.sonyericsson.com/[....]ntercell/SC-PT_K500_EN_105.jar

2. Transfer this file to your K700. Run the game. When prompted to press 5 to exit the game, do so. (This is very IMPORTANT!)

3. Download this mysterious java file from SE's official site: http://www2.sonyericsson.com/[....]tercell/SC-PT_K500_EN_105b.jar

4. Transfer this file to your K700. When prompted to overwrite, select Yes.

5. Start the game and enjoy this fine release from SE and Gameloft!

N.B. If white screen appears at step 5, try pressing one of the two soft keys and this should take you to the main menu of the game!

As one of us has mentioned in the previous topic, K700 deserves this game! However, since this is a K500 version, the screen resolution only occupies approx. 2/3 of a K700 screen. It becomes sort of full screen in game, but...

Can't wait for the full version to come out!!!

didnt work for me. FOllowed the instructions to the letter, sent the files via IR. When launching the game, the java icon come up, then loads a white screen. Nothing else...

Sorry, guys. As it worked for the Chinese version of this demo, I thought it would work for the English version as well. I tested the English version just now, it indeed kept on loading.

For those of you who still want to have a go at this game, use the Chinese version instead.

For step 1, use this file instead:

For step 3, use this file instead:
http://www2.sonyericsson.com/[....]tercell/SC-PT_K500_CN_105b.jar

In the game menu, click the right soft key to start a new game (for those of you who can't read Chinese )

Still can't figure out how to run the English version on K700 properly. The basic idea is to to play around with the sequence of transfering the following files to your phone:

I got the EN version to work on mine! I followed the instruction and everything worked right away. I didn't use the 105a version - just used the 105b right away after the first one. Do you think it's because I'm still using R2A?

Great game!

edit: it's wierd I just viewed the game for a while and quit, when I ran it again it doesn't continue loading anymore. Too bad.
