[New] Turn On The Light for UIQ

With Turn On The Light by Denis Artemovone can quickly turn the backlight on or off. Full version is available in the Onlineshop.

Why the hell would anyone need, and heaven forbid....BUY this app?!!!

Last time I checked the backlight turns on ITSELF whenever you do anything on the phone! And guess what, it even turns itself OFF as well!!!

The only use I can think of is if it can successfully illuminate the clock.

to add a bit more to this...

it can be found here and says

This little application allows will to keep backlight on while you are reading the book or browsing web. It allows to assign a button to manage backlight state ("always on" or "normal")

so perhaps that explains it?

yeah, but I guess this is a tad easier than working your way through the control panel menus when you want to set the light to always on unless you already have some key mapping program I guess

@masseur i get your point and its logical, guess it depends on individual usage. Next to it its a real batt drain i u forget it to turn off the app. This message was posted from a T68i

I didn't mean there is an actual competition, sorry.

I meant that the 'Turn on the Light' app has a competitor. Another app that does the same thing called 'Backlight'

PS- Boba u should get a P-Series phone & enjoy HTML browsing

Surely the trend will end with those two unless anyone decides to make a free one.
I can't see many people paying money for an app to do things the phone can already do!
