T610 doesn't have option to turn the light off while browsing menus. This can be done using float's mobile agent- start the application, then choose profile which you want to use with light off. In the top right corner there's profile symbol (3 squares) click on it, choose 2nd tab (settings) and you will be given option to disable backlight.
