on the sony ericsson web site it allows you 2 update your k700i firmware is it safe 4 me 2 update my k500i firmware with it?

The update site wont let you put k700 software on a k500. It wouldnt work if it did let you.

Why would u want K500 f/w? Surely it loses features of the K700.
What about the 'extended' pic size & panarama for the camera, does K5 have those?
