I'm using it - bought it with the T68i. I use it because it looks good and I love the angle at which it holds the phone in front of me - very easy to see the LCD screen and I'm especially lucky because the T68i has colors which are similar to my laptop and the CDS-11 has colors which are very similar to the T68i so the whole setup looks pretty good.
I would recommend the CDS-11.

The CDS-11 has data connectors alongside the charger terminals. That alone should prevent you from plugging-in your
headset.
You could try, but I wouldn't. You could damage one or both.
