> How to transfer pictures from T300 to PC

I recently bought a used T300 and Communicam. My service is T-Mobile. I currently do not have MMS on my account.
Is there any way other than email to transfer pictures to my PC? My PC has Windows XP SP2. I bought a USB cable on eBay that supposedly would do it, but the software initially didn't recognize my phone, then thought it was a T610 and wouldn't work right.
I bought a serial cable, but it didn't come with the software. The ad said to go onto the Sony Ericsson site to look for the software. But all I could find was Communications Suite for either Win98 or ME. I tried both and the install had errors (probably because I'm on Win XP).
The cables each only cost under $10 including the shipping so I'm not too worried if neither the way to go (I'll probably just turn around and sell them on eBay too if that's the case). but I want to know how to do it because I never do email or messaging from my cell phone and I really don't want to have to pay extra each month just to transfer my pictures.
Please let me know your thoughts, thanks.

HMM....the USB-to-IR dongle seems pretty easy to get (took a little finding on eBay but I see some for as little as under $10), but what about the data transfer software?
The SE website only shows for the T300 software to make the phone act as a modem for the PC, not to do direct data transfer. And the other site you mentioned if I did it write seemed to be "under construction". I want to make sure I can do this before buying the IR dongle and all.
Where is the IR port on the T300? Is it the dark spot on the upper right side of the phone?
