I would be very interested if it was possible to get any of the standard Linux/Unix type applications on the P910.

My main interest would be in
BASH
ping
traceroute
ps
less
netstat
OR something like
Busybox (which is pretty much all of the above and more in one relatively small package.

Any pointers to other places to look would also be greatly appreciated.

Answering my own post in case anyone else wants to know.

The answer is basically NO.

THe best way to accomplish this is to get a good SSH client and then connect via GPRS to your preferred *NIX and you have everythihng you could every want int he way of tools.

Also you can also get VNC for the P900 and this also means you can also do GUI stuff if absolutely necessary (just be aware it's going to be slow)

So, I can email direct from my P910, I can also access using mutt my complete mail files and execure all the commands I need to while only having to open my server to a single IP address because Voda Australia NAT all their GPRS connections though a single public IP address.

I'm reasonable happy thus far.
