it's the firmware i initially had when i bought my k7,and it's without a doubt the worst.better get r2l...or whatever todays revision maybe.

I also got the R2a041. I went to a service centre today for an upgrade i still got the same version. Does that mean not all service centres got the latest firmware or it depends on countries. For instance, i am in france

Officially r2l is the latest version and it offers many improvements over r2a. If you are using a branded phone, it is another version depending on your service provider. Look in a thread named k700 firmware's overview for more info. You can upgrade at the service centre and is free when your phone is within warranty.
