Is there a reset button on the P910i?
I have done the master reset in the control panel, but all the programs are still installed on the phone! why is this?
Also i have tried to format the memory card and it wont do that either? why is this ?

Have you tried to go to the service menu and see if you can format it all or master reset it from there?
Ive seen the option in my mates P800...do the following combination to go to the service menu:
Jog dial up
*
Jog dial down
Jog dial down
*
Jog dial down

What programs are you talking about?
If it's the ones that came with the phone, you cannot delete any of them as they are in the (Z) rom drive.
You can only delete ones you have installed yourself. Doing a master reset will clear the phone back to the state in which you first bought it.
To clear progs on the MS you will also need to reformat it.

I think there's also an option to retain/erase all user installed programs when you do a master reset.
