HI..

I am a new user for K700 and use a Nokia previously. I usually sign off my sms with a latin O ( letter O with two dots on top). In K700, i cant write my signature with the T9. Anyone can help...

Thanks in advance..

This is interesting... seems like T9 can't be activated when using Standard ABC as your Writing Language.

@wakk0 - make sure that french language is checked in the settings -> Language-> Writing language menu.

While writing an sms, change language to french. the button '6' will give you that symbol. You can also continue writing in english though the t9 will give you more options thru which u must choose.

@blackspot - abc means writing abc character by character ! T9 is for writing words in diff languages

@kllr_dude, I knew that, but if I set my language to English I can't get that Ö - that's why I set it to Standard abc.

BTW my phone only has English and Chinese.

One tip - To change quickly between languages, press and hold '#' key. Saves the time required to go to the 'more' and change.

I found a way to do it but add in "-" in front. better than nothing ah..

First, you write your favourite word "Ö" using standard abc, then go back to T9. Highlight it, click spell, add a "-" infront and insert them. The "-Ö" will added to My Words. Ok.. instead of pressing A, press 1 and navi up. You find your favourite word..

P/S: you CAN"T save "Ö" alone in the My Words..

..Which is kinda strange, since 'ö' means island in swedish.
It´s one of two one-letter words, the other being 'Å' which means creek/small river
Maybe only works with Swedish T9? Haven´t had the need to write any of those two words ever as far as i can remember
