Hi. Before i bought my K700i i've read on a review that the phone can autoswitch the profiles at certain time.

It review says exactly : "Pleasant peculiarity of this model is that you can turn on/off automatic switch of profiles after the event had occurred, as well as return to the earlier set profile after the event is over. Basically we get analogue of Time Profile function in Nokia’s phones."

I haven't find anyting like this on my K700i. I've searched on the profiles, on the organizer, but nothing. Anyone who managed to find this feature?

You know, now that you mention it, I can't find it either. Had it on the t630/610 too... Anyone know, is this true for all firmwares? Is it a mistake in the mobile-review review or was it taken out for some reason?

Or is there a setting we're not finding? In the t630, it could be turned on under the Calendar Settings...

My T610 can change profiles automatically.

This feature is related to setting up a meeting on the calendar. This is in the Calendar/options/Profile switch/Auto on".

Your profile automatically changes to Meeting when an appointment is set up in the Ädd Appointment function on the calendar.

Of course you can edit your profiles for your liking.

there is no profile switch option in my k500 when i checked now. it can be deeper inside in the menus somewhere....

My K700i switches its profile from 'Normal' to 'Handsfree' when I pair the phone with my bluetooth headphone HBH-35.

When I switch the bluetooth headphone off, the phone switches back to 'Normal' profile.

profile switching when devices are attached is one thing, but the calendar profile switching is no longer present in the

phones and I personally never used it so can't say what value it was.

if it was in a review model then I can only assume it was a pre production unit because it certainly was never available in the first production firmware
