Hi,

I have a problem. My contacts application is always exiting before I can even see the contacts. This happens in FC and FO modes as well. It all started yesterday when I installed PsiLoc ScreenSaver to try it out. The app itself wouldn't start it just dies when displaying its splash and I have to reset the phone. However when I uninstalled it the contacts app still doesn't respond. I tried rebooting the phone but no luck. It just displays the usual "Busy" signal then it closes the app. This is really bad, since I have alot of contacts and not being able to dial from there is a hassle.
I am currently doing a restore on the phone to see if that solves the problem.
Anyone had the same on the P910?

Never heard of anything like that.
What does it say when the Contacts app closes?

I don't suppose u've edited/deleted any system files have you?

It doesn't say anything it just closes about 2 seconds after it was started. In FO mode it says "Busy" then returns to the previous application that was active before clicking the Contacts page.
I didn't change any system apps, since they are in the ROM anyways (like the Contacts app itself)
I think it is caused by the SSaver from PsiLoc, since now that I removed it and did a restore everything is ok, and the only thing different between this state and the previous is that PsiLoc is not installed.

Not all system files are on the A & Z ROM drives
e.g. C:\System\Apps\Contacts amongst other stuff.

At least it is working now even if u never really know why it happened. Seemingly the app u installed caused a problem but I've not heard of that conflict before
