I had previously though light-up keyboards to be nothing but a gimmick.A new keyboard from Japanese vendor Century,the "Le Grand Bleu," has an honest-to-god practical use;the first light-up keyboard whose number pad will light up in response to incoming calls and phones when a cell phone is nearby. While of course the whole keyboard can light up with the flick of a switch, only the number pad will respond to incoming calls and mail.This would be particularly convenient for a person like myself, who always wears headphones while at the PC and really never notices when someone is trying to get in contact with them!

I think their is a huge difference between screen brightness and light emiting from a keyboard!..However i can assure you this is very safe for your eyes!
