Hi,

I'm happy with my P900 but very tempted to upgrade to a P910, but only if a couple of things have been fixed.

1) When the clock power saver has kicked in, is there any notification of messgages (sms, missed calls or emails). Blackberries do this by flashing the signal light red -what a simple solution
2) Is the camera better on the new phone?
3) Is the flip open keypad usable??

Thanks in advance,

ed

1. No, there is no indication of messages, etc...
2. The camera is a little improved. The colors are more realistic looking and the camera seems to let in more light for night mode.
3. It takes a little getting used to, but the keypad is okay. I still prefer T9, but that's just my preference.

The previous poster is spot on

Personally, I find the QWERTY keypad very usable, my fingers aren't exactly tiny but I can still type out quite long messages without too many mistakes.

Let someone else answer question 1 but 2: Don't think there is so much difference 3: Yes it is in many situations very usable. But for myself the main reason to upgrade from P900 was the extra RAM I got. Bigger C make many things easier like storing the sms, mms, email. Multiple bluetooth connection as well. I never regret my upgrade. This message was posted from a WAP device

I agree, The upgrade to p910 is for the bigger ram and the possibility to use MSduo pro cards ( up to 1GB), though some already flashed their p900 to overcome this ( lost some bluetooth connectivity) and not for the camera or the messages ( i guess there is a 3rd party program which deals with the sms problem now but I am not sure) .
The key board, is very small but usable, not in the dark though.
The p910 is a much stable phone, Overall I guess you upgrade for the better...

I'm very happy with havin a 'P905' so I have Duo Pro support & better browser & other apps etc.
Also the phone is DEFINATELY a lot more stable than before. It has only crashed once in 5 weeks, previously it would be every few days.

The only issue with Bluetooth is that it doesn't work with headsets. File transfer etc works perfectly.

The P910 keyboard is good & useable but only if u keep the flip on
and remember it's not backlit!!
