SmartLink SX includes a microphone, antenna (integrated in the neck cord), LCD display, 40 programmable frequencies, remote control for some Phonak hearing aids, and Bluetooth technology. The Bluetooth technology allows users to communicate with their mobile phones a huge advantage for those who can't use mobile phones due to the irritation it causes their hearing aids. This gadget will pipe the call into the hearing aid & the microphone allows the user to speak to the person on the other end of the call.
