Would it be any thing to do with the fact that is is a orange branded phone.
Where do i get all the oranged branded stuff removed? what would i say if i took it into CPW?
thanks in advance for your advice!

Is it not quite expensive to use IM's and MSN etc on your phone?
I thought, as an example, that Vodafone UK charged around 23p per kilobyte transmitted...? Sounds really pricey to me?!

I have used Avantgo on my P900 but didn't like it, it's to slow and often causes crashes with the exec kernec message. The only way to get it to work after this type of error was to reinstall it!
Maybe it's working better on P910 with bigger RAM?
It never worked for me over GPRS, i did use the craddle or bluetoth and did the sync over my pc.

that was my experience too on the P910 with avantgo. avantgo was able to sync 50% of the time and when it did it was around 10 times slower than synching the same data to my ipaq. I gave up on it which was a shame considering how long we were waiting for it to become available

Had the same problem with AvantGo on my P800. It synced properly the first couple of times (I used CSD, as all I have is a GPRS WAP account), buty after that, nothing worked. Desktop cradle with PC Internet connection refuse d to get the job done too. It would start syncing then just revert back to the AvantGo entry page.
Gave up on it eventually. Shame.

Did not have any probs in the old days with advango and Palm OS. I did not try it with my P900, coz I wanted to wait on opinions on it. so I guess my wait has paid of and I will not install it.

As i wrote earlier the sync. via craddle and bluetoth worked well for me, gprs didn't work at all. The thing i had most problem with was the app wich was slow and crashed a couple of times and couldn't be restarted after that, i think i reinstalled it 5 times before i was giving up. The version that's out now is a beta so maybe next version is better?
