Hi there i'm a newbie to the p900 so please forgive my knowledge on the phone. My problem is that when i try to download a theme via orange gprs wap settings it comes up as text and wont download to the phone as a theme does anyone know what i'm doing wrong ?

but it sounds like maybe the gprs settings are wrong? Contact orange and ask them to send you the settings, maybe that will help.

What does the text say?
Is it just a message box that pops up or do u mean the file d/loads as a text file?

the file downloads as text. All other wap sites work but its when i try to download a theme

So have u successfully d/loaded themes from other site & it's just the ones from Orange with a problem?
U could try saving the txt file & change the file extension from .txt to .utz & see if that solves it

i havent downloaded any themes via wap successfully yet. I tried the sonyericsson site and the phone just doesnt do anything. I am using orange wap settings. Can you tell me of any wap sites where i can try downloading themes via p900, also how do i save the text and convert it to .utz as i couldnt find any option to save it

www.mobile9.com you can down load via wap, or use your internal browser and open up
www.p900club.us and download straight to phone. Hope that help.
