I know that you can unlock it to accept any other mobile operators..
and today my favorite operator cut the price on the taxes again...
But if i put in my new operator,.. What diffrent is it. I mean. all say its optimized for Vodafone live. but i can still add my own start wap page and so on... so what is the deal with this live optimizing thing? i can still edit it all.... the only downside is that i have a vodafone logo on the body. hmm.... and oooh... is there any vodafone logos in the menu,.. ? i mean like the Live logo that was down in the right corner in previous SE vf models.

Have u never seen a Voda branded SE compared to a proper one?!
It's an entire Vodaphone menu with the worst icons u've ever seen!

Well, ive seen one. my gf has one... And yes.. ive actually held one V800 that was running in the vodafone store...
But dident think of it had the logo that said live down the right corner.... as it does on previous models... actually... when the phone is open... u wont take notice on any Vodafine things... the menu is updated... and dont look like the old vodafone menu... and there is no vodafone patches inside the phone either... like the vodafone button on z600 down the right at the keys...
The only thing that gives away its a vodafone is the branded shell...
But im not 100 % sure if there was a Live logo in the right corner of the screen as in previous SE models.

the icons are not bad actually. Compared to previous vodafone icons they're even pretty.
Locationwise it's all the same, you learn where they are and that's that.
There is indeed a Live! button on the standby screen on the right softkey.
The 'nav button up' shortcut provides most of what used to be in the 'more' menu on my Z600 though.

Location wise is different to normal SE menu though isn't it? So that's stupid especially if ur already used to the proper icon layout.
I agree the new ones are not as bad as the old stuff but still terrible compared to the colourful SE icons
