> Unlocking the K700

I was wondering, is there any quick ways to unlock the K700? I mean,say if i buy the phone today on a new orange contract and i want it unlocked. Can i use the cable supplied (if there is any) and go onto a website, pay them through Paypal for example and they will supply me the code or the software?
I've seen a few websites, and they supply a cable, do i have to order that, in order to connect?

First easy things is ask them possible to unlock it when u get it.. ( silly answer, sure they won't do it !but who knows might help it.. )
Second things, why dun u try on CPW/The Link/ Phones4u when u can get unbranded K700i rather going to orange, Voda shop to get a contract?
Lastly, mostly u need to buy a cable that ordered from the website which they providing the unlock solution.

Quickest way to do it is ring ur operator ask them they will probaly charge then email code to ur email address

I think if you go through that option then you have to pay the entire rental line option, which i don't have the cash right now.

I want to go with Orange is because they promote alot of Student offers, like 1000 free text messages per month and other goodies
Hmm...i was going to get this new contract and give the phone to my dad but it seems too much hassle. Might as well pick up the SPV C500 instead then

CPW also have this kinds of offers if i'm not very sure.. just check it out first.. but i'm not promoting. just suggestions if wana get unbranded K700i.
