I'm about to join the P910i club and my god am I excited hehe. Managed to upgrade with Orange for Ģ150 for phone which ain't bad well I thought. It arrives tomorrow or latest Saturday.

So what essentials or apps do I need for it? Don't wanna be missing out on all the fun you guys get with ya phone.

Also how do I go about checking the firmware and enhancing it as I hear that mentioned so often?

Cheers

To check firmware. Click System information:

Applications. Everybody says SMan:

With the magic profiles program, do you have EITHER Magic Profile or Magic Profile Pro, or do you run them both? Is the Pro one a better program?

One or the other, but Pro is the improved version. Can't remember the exact differences, but they're on My Symbian.

@frontman
before installing pro uninstallation of previous versions is recommended. You can update for 5 bucks. It provides better scheduling, cell naming, autoswitch and other nice features. But letīs not get off track

sorry for off-tracking again: my-symbian charges 19 $ but 18 € (which is ridicolous at the momentarily exchange rates), if you want buy directly for 18 $ or 9,96 GBP at symbianwave.com..

just a note,,
tracker can be labourious to use with orange firmware,,
cos its been set to open the orange home page by defualt so tracker has to be launched manually (kinda defeating the purpose)
