It has happened again. I reinstalled the whole phone from scratch yesterday, since it had a few problems and was dead slow.
One of the problems was that the phone tended to turn of text input. Whenever I placed the marker in a text field, I never got the little black arrow (field divider) to show up, hence leaving me with no ability to input text.
Now, the problem is back. Have any of you experienced a problem where text input is suddenly gone?

There was a similar problem discussed earlier on this forum, but from what i read , this problem occurs when use the CIC jot alot, and it was solved when you restarted your phone...so is this your case ??

Another solution is to use the pen and touch the screen to some specific areas. Usually in center and the surrounding black screen field. The only time that this has happen to me is with the Sarien program and I had to click on the screen twice.

Yes, but it occurs too often so restarting the phone would be tedious. I found an input preference panel in Control Panel. Hopefully, it'll do just to reset the Jot option in there.

Yes it once happened me for a year ago. It was something that happened after installed EziTap, donīt know it you did that? But I think a reinstallation was enough to solve the problem.

This also happened to me. I even did a master reset and it was still japanning with no apps installed. I had to phone my service provider and get my phone replaced in the end. Although that was hard enough as explaining a problem like this to the monkeys they have on customer support is not the easiest thing to do.
