I have just come across the cable dsu-11 (usb ) for connecting to the phone. Is it possible to use this to synch my p910i with pc ... instead of using the bulky cradle? The cable according to the spec can allow you to charge the phone via usb port... that would be ideal when I am travelling.

You should check it on sites. But as far as I remember this cable is needed when you´re working with the dss or css speakerphone-stations, and it´s also mentioned that by this you can synchronize your phone..

Should be just fine. I sometimes use a cable that I bought to use with my T68, and it does all the same things as if the P900 were in the docking station.

it works perfectly fine l have all the cables, including the cable that uses the com port you can do everything exept using the update service. that requires a syncstation.
