My battery cover has started to squeeeek every time i press it. Has anyone else has this problem. It's a bit irritating cos it make the noise everytime I press a button.

I managed to stop it with some paper to pad things up but anyone got a better way?

. . .well, how 'bout applying some wd-40 on the cover? Or a non-staining 'oil' - baby oil or the like? Good luck!

Its a very popular lubrication (not kinky) oil spray in the uk.

@bobafett - An 'improved' version of the WD-39, I guess Nope, it's some kind of 'lubricating' chemical/fluid type solution contained in a canister. Ideally, it is USED in metal-corroding stuffs, like in car's door hinges, big bike's chain, nut's and bolt's . . . etc.

Other peolpe that have had this problem have found the best solution is to put an old sim card between the battery and the cover - just the right size and thickness

@kasuku maybe a small rubber piece would help aswell, i had to get the best position under the batt to avoid cover problems. Sad, that its not manufactured ona better way. This message was posted from a T68
