just heard this today... well actually heard about it a few weeks ago but it was priced £400... now when its released it will be £350...

Seems like an agressive price... Maybe gettin it unlocked and flashed once new fw is out makes it a good buy?

There probably won't be unbranded f/w until it's available on other Networks or SIM free anyway & then the price may be comparable to Voda anyway

Anyone using the V800 yet? and how is it?
I like to switch from my overused T610 to a clamshell, but I have to wait for the Z500i soon to be released here in the U.S.

I bought the Motorola RAZR V3 but I can not recommend it. I am spoiled with SE menue options, and it is hard to go backwards to Moto.
I have a Moto in my car that works fine with the menue displays in the car and the steering wheel controls, but for heavy hand use nothing I have seen so far beats SE.

£350?????????
are they crazy?! i have a hard enough time paying that much for an unbranded sim free phone, never mind a voda branded paygo phone!! someone doesnt want this phone to sell i think.
does anyone know the cheapest and most expensive contract prices?

the V800 mobile sux big time!!

i've try one and it looks awesome closed, once you open it it looks like the guitar of WASP or some metal band, really ugly....albeit the phone is a great phone SPECS wise.

now if the V800 wasn't VODAFONE, it'd be good to give it a thought...but UGLY + VODAFONE = perfect mate (crap)

wah wah wah

anybody noticed that VODAFONE is the ANTICHRIST?

check out the logo....its a triple 6 , with one of em look like 9 just like in THE OMEN

666, the number of the BEST

I've had one for a bit over a week now and I couldn't go back to anything else. The fm from Vodafone is a shame, but I hope there will come a new within a few months.
They have locked the funktion of playing your own MP3s as ringsignals, but you can easy go around that system with a program from sonyericsson. DMR-Packager.

I think the phone is great and have just orded a bigger Sony Duo Pro memorystick with 512mb to be able to use the phone as an MP3-player for real! The 32bm-card that comes with the phone is a nice gesture but it fills up pretty quick if you use MP3s and videos.

I'm looking for an easy way to rencode videos so they can be seen on the phone. Anyone got any tips on how? I would like to watch simpsons and scrubs on the phone when sitting at the subway. :)

And by the way... i got my V800 för 100kr (about 9euro) a month for 18 months.

Thats a good buy I guess..
On the other side I'm stuck to vodafone for 18 months too... And that will cost some more... but then I can call for free 120 minutes a month to every provider and to all vodafone-user

Well well.. I couldn't wait..
:)
