Hiya all...
My brand new S700i arrived yesterday...
I have owned the K700 before so knew kind of what to expect....
The build quality is excellent.... loads better than my experience with the P800 and P900...
But to be honest...I was intrigued by the forthcoming Samsung D500...and placed a preorder weeks ago...
In my impatience...I was tempted by the S700i a few days ago...and here it is...
Now I am led to believe that my Sim Free D500 is arriving on Monday...
I love the size of the D500....and the smart look...but the look of the S700i is great.....but the memory is alot smaller....
Suggestions?
I will play with the D500 on monday.... but one of them will have to go back...

Your thoughts?

Play with them both before you decide.
I'm pretty sure you will miss a lot of things from the S700 if you buy the D500 but on the other hand there are for sure a lot of things you will like.
I know what I would miss from the S700i:
Its display, camera, easier and cumstomizeable menu and expandable memory.
What I not would miss is its size.

well im goin for the D500 2moro i think, i do like the s700 but its just to expensive for what u get, i already hav a p900 for my business needs so i think the D500 will be grat for me, also its smaller then the s700 which is what i need for a goin out fone.

True about the expandable memory...but that would be an extra purchase of at least £40 ..The D500 was purchased for £100 less than the S700...hmmmm but the more I play with the S700 the more I am impressed..at the moment I am listening to Dermot on BBC radio 2 typing this into the website walking in the autumnal sunshine...and for some reason I think the radio has a better reception than the K700...uses the same battery as the Z600! I just got a D500 and I much perfer it over the S700. The menu and texting is so much quick than the S700.

My old S700 is in the for sale section
