Hello all,
I just sold my K700i because of the famous bluetooth problem (it sticks paired with the headset even after hanging the line) .. and I need to buy some other SE phone which doesnt have this problem, is S700i is a good choice? .. if not, do you think SE someday will fix this problem with their upcoming releases of software?

WHich bluetooth headset are you using?
I use a Motorola HS810 (definitely a great unit, tested up to 18 metres in open space without losing connection!) and a K700i and do not have that problem...

I use my S700i with an HBH30 and it works perfectly. It disconnects after being used everytime. I have never had a problem.

Thanks for all that wonderful replies,
I use the HBH660, and when I paired it with K700, it just kept the connection busy all the time, even if I need to send/receive and bluetooth file, i have to manualy disconnect it, I also tried HBH65 and I faced the same problem. With T610 (which I am using right now) no problems what so ever.
So, the new S700i doesnt have that problem??

Thats wonderful, I still have one question before sacrificing a few hunderd bucks on S700i.
In T610, I have the facility to set how the phone will route the outgoing calls, from phone, headset, or ask just after hitting the dial button, when I used to have the K700, this important option was missing!! .. and when a bluetooth headset is paired, it only giving the option of diverting the call to the headset, or ask me!! .. now to make a long story short, I used to choose the (phone) option, and that way the default route will be the phone, and in case I want to divert the call to my headset, I just hit the little button the headset itself. The buttom line, I want the same facility in S700i, or any successor phone from SE.
I dont know how on earth SE keeps getting their F/W worst and worst!!
Thanks.
P.S. : my english is horrible! .. so execuse me and try to read it more than once in case you dont understand it the first time.

NOOOOOOOOOO DON'T LISTEN TO THEM,
The headset is paired all the time with the S700i too, thats why I haven't bought it.. I tried it after I heard my uncle complaining about that. Later I talked to SE and they confirmed that, and it is not a problem. It is a choice by SE, again a stupid choice!
SO IF YOU DON'T WANT BLUETOOTH PROBLEM DON'T BUY S700i!
I can never understand why they choose to do that.. If I use the bluetooth adaptor in my PC I have to disconnect my headset in order to get it work! thats just stupid, you loose the whole idea with having multiple bluetooth devices.. These choices will lead to the end of bluetooth.. I want wireless usb on phones!

With my S700i and HBH600, the BT does not disconnect. It stays connected even after hanging up. I'm on R2F firmware.

Thanks for the comment,
Well, Thats really disappointing. What a STUPID move by SE! .. then I think I will abandon the whole idea of buying SE phone in the future, or at least I'll keep my little trusty T610 for as long as it can stay alive.
