> Problem with my P800
Bookmark topic
My P800 gave me problem in switching on since today morning. It was giving my strange characters and not displaying the full page. I took whole day trying to fix it but could not. Then I decided to search in the net and I read someone said to restart the phone by removing memory card. I did this and it worked, it got started. Now, the problem is that all my contacts that were displaying arabic characters are no more readable they are small rectangles. Even my messages they turned small rectangles... Can anyone help me in fixing this problem. I have already taken the backup of the phone and memory stick seperately and ready for any kind of formating or installing software. Please HELP....

Looks like you will have to go to a SE service centre for a firmware upgrade or re-intallation.

This may sound drastic, but you may want to try performing a reset and format your memory stick. After that, check if your phone is still displaying those characters. You will start from scratch though, so if you do not have a back-up of your contacts, you may have to spend time again rebuilding it.
