> Bluetooth Problems K700i
Bookmark topic
Hi
I have a K700i and I am going to buy a bluetooth dongle
But im thinking about not getting one
When I try to connect my K700i with a bluetooth device such as the t610, the phone cannot find the device, or it is incredibaly slow and unusable
It stays at the screen when it looks like something is loading - when it is meant be pairing up with the T610
But the funny thing is that I can send files from the T610 to the K700i and it works fine
Have you got any suggestions of what to do?
Change of settings etc.
It would be well appreciated
Thanks
Jontyf

Strange... Which firmware do you have?
I am running on R2AA something here in France and have had no problem pairing my brand new K700i to my former T610. I used Bluetooth to transfer files between the two units without any difficulty.

@jontyf
There were reports of problems with Bluetooth on the K700, which, if I remember correctly, were firmware issues. I would recommend having your K700 flashed.
You might also want to

as there are some threads on this matter, which might provide you with some more information.

Hmmm, there aren't any visible settings. I suggest you call SE and find out whats going on.

Well I really hope the problem go's away because I dont really want to go to the trouble of flashing firmware or anything
My firmware is R2C001
Also, does flashing firmware mean the files on the phone are wiped?
I think that they stay in the phone memory but im not sure...
