I have just read the thread with all the bluejacking stories on and I was wondering if thereis any software available to help bluejacking with an SE S700i, I have seen peeps mention "SMAN" but apparently this does not work with s700i, are there any alternatives for S700i,

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't bluejacking all about to send your card to an "open" user. You can't explore others phones, can you? Btw the sman can only be use to view your own phone, not others through BT..... This message was posted from a WAP device

Sman is available for Pxxx only. It does allow you to bluejack another bluetooth phone phone if their phone is not hidden.
Unfortunately I do not know of any program for the s700 that helps you bluejack. phones do not allow java apps to access the bluetooth on the phone so no bluejacking programs have been or will be written for any phone. Sorry

Just make a new contact with your message in the "name" area instead off the name. Chose send as "bluetooth" and if the other phone received it, your message will be display.

The funniest thing to do with sending a contact is this: Put something abusive as a name for a contact, use your unsuspecting mates number and then find a really busy nightclub. Use BT to search and hopefully you will find a bunch of phones. Send the contact and watch your buddy squirm as he gets phonecall after phonecall... >:-)

Not all phones will accept the contact without the user pressing accept first. Some phones, such as the Nokia 6230 even displays the name of the bluetooth device sending the file, so many times I have tried to bluejack the phones in work and on their screens they see "Accept file from Chris' K700i" which kinda gives the game away.

It's not a fun as it used to be because it's not as anonymous anymore. Luckily you can bluejack SE phones as it seems SE don't bother displaying the name of the device trying to connect even though more and more phones do. The phone manufacturers have caught on to the bluejacking trend so have gone to these measures to stop anonymous transfers, except SE of course!!!
