Hey guys, just ordered the 17'' 1.5ghz Powerbook G4 from the apple website... wondering how well, if at all, will my SE P900 work with this? Thanks.

I expect u should be able to install the docking station for backup & restore, sync and file transfer but I have no experience with apple so I can't be sure.
Will the apple have IR or Bluetooth as they would offer further connectivity

As far as I know Macs come with software called iSync that has native compatibility with

P900 to synchronize email from the mac email client and calendar items from iCal. This can all be done via the built in bluetooth in both the laptop and the phone. The Mac should be able to send files back and forth using bluetooth as well.
The USB sync station and the

PC suite are not compatible with Mac nor is the online update service. In order to use these you will need access to a PC.
There are several topics regarding this issue both in the P800/P900/P910 forum and there is a sticky thread on this issue in the General Forum.

What's going to work:
- Synchronisation via iSync of Address Book and iCal
- Using Salling Clicker to remote control certain applications
What's not going to work:
- Software updates (requires Windows Software for docking station/SE tools)
- Sending and receiving SMS via Address Book
- Displaying the caller id on the Mac
I was successful doing software updates with Virtual PC and the USB docking station, although this is very slow.

Nice little duo of gadgets you'll have then!
I am sure it will work, the P900 isn't that bad at compatibility with other devices

- Sending and receiving SMS
Won't work no matter what OS you are using because Symbian doesn't support this.
