I bought my P910i less than a month ago. It behaved admirably until last weekend when battery life shortened alarmingly. A full charge was drained in less than 8 hours even when the phone was not used (turned on but no calls)!

The problem appears to have cured itself when I removed the battery, reinserted it and switched the phone back on. But such unpredictability is unnerving.

An enquiry with the vendor produced little joy. Said he had similar complaints from other customers but Ericsson couldn't provide an answer.

Anyone out there experienced the same thing, and what would you recommend?

Have you tried to do a firmware update?

I have a P900 and have been experienced the same thing once, the battery was empty after 7-8 hours without any apps running and no phonecalls.

I restarted and charged it and after that it never have happened again.

I've had this happen to me twice over last 6 weeks. Really weird. At first I thought it was cos maybe I didnt close down Music Player properly and it had been playing in background, but it happened again last week.

Maybe a firmware update will fix it as mentioned, but don't know.
