Would your Sony Ericsson phone be the same for you if we didn't have Esato??
My answare is No! I wouldnt know as much about my p800 and it wouldnt be such fun as it is if Esoto wouldn't be or if I didnt know about it. Esato has been very good for my when I was a T300 owner and now a P800....

That way i wouldn´t be aware of/looking for bugs/quirks reported here that i would not have noticed otherwise

While I enjoy Esato - and spend a lot of time here daily - not knowing Esato would not have made any significant difference in how I use my phones, SE or otherwise.

There are not too many features (i.e. only less important ones) I´ve learned around here - but I like the idea of not beeing alone as a 'phone freak'..
