Called my local Carphone Warehouse today to see about getting my orange k700 flashed to generic firmware...their response is that they do not do it as is company policy!
Called SE UK who advised me that it is impossible to move operator firmware...I advised that it is possible but was then advised that all SE SC will only flash to operators firmware...they gave me the number of their head SC in UK!
Call to ACR Logistics (head SE SC) who advised that no SE SC will flash with generic firmware if phone is branded!
How come it seems so simple for everybody else....??
I live in Cardiff, South Wales.......Does anybody know where I can get this procedure done in my area...am not prepared to send handset anyway.
