Hi,
I recently bought a new fascia for my T630. Unfortunately I cant work out how to get the original one off. Anyone know idiot proof instructions to help me please?

Welcome here! Its not a big deal,but if u never done it before ask an expert to change it to avoid any scratches or breaks. Guess se service fix it for u. Is that an original cover?

the new cover i bought is a compatable cover (not actually made by SE). I took it to The Carphone Warehouse and asked them to show me how to change it. They said they were not allowed to do it in case they broke it. thats all the response i got.

@polly non orig covers could cause faulties at earfone for example, cos they dont fit the housing. So if u or anybody else chbnge it make a test at every features like irda, volume key etc ps u should go for the orig one, i do liked my black one

I found the link really helpful. I got as far as trying to take the camera out and got scared as it wasnt coming out easily.
I think i might leave it for now until the SE covers come out and get a professional to do it for me.

That's why it's a "super-duper guide..."
The original fascias (fasciae?) can be bought; my local SE service point had them for 12 euros. If you're just replacing the covers (and not the middle bit), I don't know if you even need to take the ring around the camera off...
