No, actually, but since the 6630 has a CMOS sensor for its camera while the S700i has a CCD one, the second is guaranteed to have much better picture quality.

there was a pic comparison on mobile review can find the link at the moment and the 6630 looked better than the s700 with both phones on auto setting.
though many pointed out that if you play with the s700 setting you can create far better pics

The fact that the one cell has a cmos sensor and the other a "old fashioned" ccd, doesn't mean much thous days anymore. Some of the most expensive professional cameras are using cmos sensors.I know quite a bit about photo equipment and since this year, dare I say, cmos technology is "on par" with ccd. Actually, most of the time, the lens and focusing mechanisme plays a crucial role. But this is besides the point. What I want to know is, has anyone actually compared the pictures next to each other?

Since I am an owner of the S700i and my friend has the 6630 I can tell you already now which wins and the S700i wins by far actually.
I will post my comparison once I get more time.

I have seen far more S700 pictures than 6630. But those 6630 pictures (e.g. at mobile-review) although good are not as good as the best S700 pictures I have seen. S700 shows more details and are sharper both at close and distant range.
The auto setting may be slightly better on 6630 showing more accurate colors. But nothing beats the manual settings of an S700 once you get the hang of it (which may be trouble some for most average joes).

I think the S700 does do good photo but you need a very steady hand. The 6630 does good without needing to try too hard.
I personally say the 6630 is a better camera phone.

For the quick point and click photo without any thinking - the nokia will often do better because of its more forgiving autosetting - but for the best photo the S700 will allways win if you think a litle and use the manual settings.
It depends on you - which type of photographer are you ?
