Im wondering if its worth selling my SE k700i and buying the new Nokia 6260. Is the 6260 any better?

Are U crazy saying things like that in here ?

SE phones have a tradition of elegance and charm, wheras Nokias are just pieces of plastic stitched together...

@Phanny

At the risk of sounding rude, if you sell your K700 to buy a Nokia, your name will fit very nicely indeed!

I use 6260 upgraded from t630. I ve been choosing between this baby and s 700. If big phone is not a problem for you then buy it. Its a lota better than k700 except screen. Camera is superb. And it has symbian aboard. Love it and playing 10 days i m still not tired. Thats a record. This message was posted from a Nokia

you could sell your phone and see some improvements. but its actually a step down.

the K700 is a very good phone almost perfect
while the 6260 is a good phone, but far from perfect

the 6260 is also very big (like Z1010 size) and every nokia symbian fades away when someone has a Pxxx

@phanny here are many threads of k7 and some of the nokia. If its possible test on your own both of them! The usage all of of us is imdividual just as the features we need. This message was posted from a T68

Lets see..

6260:

+much better software (Word and Powerpoint viewers, full HTML browsing with Opera, hundreds of powerful Series 60 apps, Symbian OS)
+MULTITASKING. Unlike in the K700, you don't have to switch off the browser to change the radio station or skip to the next MP3. You can have MSN Messenger conversations, write text messages, play games and listen to music all at the same time.
+hotswappable, expandable mermory
+Push to talk

K700i

+faster GPRS (but then, it only shines with WAP pages..)
+smaller size and weight

How do I know? I have a K700i and I used a Series 60 phone for a year.
