> Orange Firmware worth £50?

Have a dilema.......Have bought an Orange PAYG K700i for £180....have tried all day to get info to get phone flashed to generic firmware but to no avail.....I am now really tempted to 14 day return the Orange phone and buy a new Unbranded K700i for £230 from CPW!
My question to forum members is.............
Would you say having all the proper shortcuts and spangly icons is worth the extra £50. Can't help but feel I am always going to be disappointed with the handset in its current form.
Would appreciate all your views and comments guys!!

How weird........I actually sold my GC on sunday (with games) in order to finance my purchase.....Am now tempted to import a DS (another forum maybe).

There are probs with the server for orange K700. It should be fixed by january so try then.
