I am struggling to make a P910i work. Have 02 contract have installed all their Gprs auto settings, installed all my ISP settings and when go to collect emails it reads (after thinking about it for 30 secs) - "problem sending message - Activation rejected"
I am not hugely technically aware - however IT bods in my firm are and they are struggling also - have spoken to ISP in the US (Valuweb) and they see no reason from there end why not working. Any ideas or anybody know of any one in Edinburgh that can make these things work.
Cheers

Is your GPRS connection allowing to browse WAP or internet, and therefore only causing problems with your email connection, or are you unable to connect through GPRS at all?

Okay,
2 things:
Firstly, you need to call O2 and check that your account is activated, not just for GPRS, but also for the Internet APN (the fact that you probably don't know what this means is not important - O2 should!). Explain exactly what you are trying to do, access full internet and email from your P910i.
Secondly, you need to ensure that the settings you have are for Internet and not for WAP.
These are the correct settings for Internet and E-Mail respectively:
APN mobile.o2.co.uk
User name o2web
Password password
Default URL www.o2.co.uk
Primary DNS 193.113.200.200
Secondary DNS 193.113.200.201
APN mobile.o2.co.uk
User name xxxx@o2.co.uk*
Password personal password*
SMTP gateway smtp.o2.co.uk
POP3 mail.o2.co.uk*
Please note the email settings user info are for an O2 email account - you should use your own settings for all sections marked with a *
Hope that helps you.
