> First ever movie to premiere on Mobilephone

Ringtones and mobile games are a thing of the past. Now you can watch a full-length Indian feature film on your phone. And the more interesting part is that the film will be 'premiered' on a phone. Arindham Chaudhary's much talked-about campus caper Rok Sako To Rok Lo will be premiered for Airtel subscribers on their cell-phones on December 9. The film releases in theatres worldwide on December 10. This is the first of its kind attempt throughout the world.

They have a long way to go yet still, but Indian movies in general have come a long way from what the used to be,and improving more and more,which is a good sign...Now that bollywood actors and directors are making films in Hollywood they are begining to implement those skills in india.

they have achieved a level of technical expertise already, but when it comes to the basics such as storyboards and screenplay it's still has a long way to go.
but then again, the songs and dances are what personifies bollywood movies, and thats what the masses want to see.bollywood purists don't want to break away from "formula" movies, but there is this new breed of really bold filmmakers who are suceeding in breaking these stereotypes and making some good movies.
parallel cinema has always been fiercely independent here and they make some awesome movies... and will continue to do so. especially with digital formats gaining a lot of importance.
