I have the superb Marting Fields Overlay plus for my P910i. I know it sazyd you can simply wash the thing and then it will stick back on but has anyone actually tried this with any degree of success? If so how did you wash/dry it?
Thanks,
James

Not MF but similar, I just wash them with luke-warm water and some detergent (Fairy). Then I blow them dry with compressed air from a can.

Works like a charm

I had to wash mine when trying to apply it as it attracted dust from somewhere and it flew onto the underside of the protector as i was laying it down.

Not wanting it to hit the sink i filled a mug with warm water, submerged the protector and rubbed the dust off.

I had a problem drying it as I didnt have the excellent idea of a compressed air canister to hand I went for a cloth and dabbed the protector but it left cloth particles (damn lint free cloth).

Anyway, I rewashed the protector, flicked it to knock away most of the water and any that remained was left on and applied to the phone.

There wasnt so much water that would seep in anywhere just a few small beads which also helped the screen set itself to the screen without any bubbles

Yeah I had heck of a time trying to clean my MF screen protector! Because no matter how I dried it, some dust somehow stuck itself to the stickier side. Then I came across the http://www.overlayplus.com/US/guide.asp?model=P910&modeln=P910 site and their "Other guide" that describes how to clean it. It mentions using scotch tape, which TOTALLY worked for me! I think the tape method is a good alternative to remove any trace dust before re-applying to the phone.
