> Dead Pixels (T610)
Bookmark topic
I've got a quiet old T610 and I've recently noticed a extreme amount of dead pixels especially when using black backgrounds. I heard SE replace screens if you have dead pixels I was wondering does your phone need to be brand new in order for them to do so and if not how would I go about getting my screen replaced.
P.S, the screen also ever so slightly flickers.

Welcome to Esato
The phone must be under warranty for them to do it for free.
The warranty last for 1year from when the phone is made.
Outside warranty they will still repair it but u will have to pay.
Or u could buy a screen & do it yourself or just put up with it

Welcome to Esato!
Your first step would be to contact sony ericsson, or if you bought it from a shop such as carphone warehouse then talk to them. They would then check if your phone was in warranty, and if not, would sent it off to get a quote on the phone. They would then contact you about the quote and ask if you would be willing top pay.
Unfortunately, i have never had a screen replaced so don't have any personal experience, but it costs about 40-50 pounds, for it cost my friend 30 pounds to get their t230 scren replaced...
regards!
(so just contact

or your dealer)
