Bookmark topic
Hey, after endless days of my k700 being in my pocket im finding the joystick hates going right now and the center push button I have to press really hard.
Do you guys just blow them out with an air gun, or pull them apart and use a contact cleaner. Do u think I have squashed my phone or is it just dirty?

it's a very common defect in the k7..and sods law says it's surely gonna become even more apparent when it's out of warranty period.check my post headed,"k700 lazy joystick".since my post,7 or 8 additional people i know have had the problem...but only in the "downward scroll"position.

Sorry k700nut, I didnt even see your topic otherwise I wouldnt have made the double topic post. It does seem to be a common fault.
I have owned my k700 for 6months give or take

@rotaholic - i experienced some prob with my joystick too but only in the down and left directions. It got corrected by itself in a few days, but i dunno how.

You could try taking it to the SE service center if its still under warranty.

@rotaholic..no apologies required mate.i only observed the said defect after 6 to 8 months of "hard" usage, but imo that's inept workmanship/r and d, and the outcome of using CHEAP AND NASTY bulk buy switches.please post your reply in the "lazy joystick"topic..maybe one day,se might inwardly digest consumer feedback from esato...but maybe not,who knows?good luck though mate.
