Welcome to Esato

There are such converters but I don't know any myself. Search the internet for MIDI Converters.
Or maybe someone else on here could suggest one

I have tried several programs but neither of them could recognize my voice as voice. I was once told that for that purpose I must have a SB Creative PRO of like 64 bit and a piano keyboard connected to it. Then it would generate and sample the thing ok, but I think that with todays technology there should be something even easier.

Thanks to all who try to help.

you can't convert wav to MIDI.

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is just a set of instructions for the MIDI device to follow. It contains information on the type of instrument, tempo, how long a note should last, volume, etc. The MIDI device (computer/phone/MIDI sound generator) will then play according the these instructions. You may notice that a MIDI file may sound different on different MIDI device -- that's because they use different sampling patterns for the instruments they use to play the MIDI file. A wav/aif or any other sound file is a digital recording of the actual wave pattern that a particular sound makes. The player then plays these files according to the wave pattern that was recorded in it.

They are totally different and a human voice is not found in any MIDI standard set of instruments so you can't convert a WAV file to MIDI, specially sounds other than Musical instruments.
