Hi,

R2AE033 firmware is out (not on SE Update Service yet ) and it is just uploaded in my K700...

The only thing that I can see for now is much faster menu over R2AA003 and overall speed. Will let you know with more details in a few hours when I test everything.

Take care,

vee

ok I will edit my post ... It is out on EMMA and I got it from unofficial source , but it is official release with around 18 pages bug fixes (at least they say so) for all languages and also for operators!?! and K/F 500... I'll try now SE Update Service to see what it will tell about my phone...

oh thanks! the obvious assumption with "OUT" is the online update service.

no big deal but I like to try these things asap in case people have questions

please be sure to say where you got your firmware next time to save this misunderstanding. thanks!

@vee

Can you check if the "one second delay" is fixed when answering calls (if a picture is assigned to a contact that is).

Also, is the phone book search withdrawn (the one introduced in the withdrawn version of R2AA003)?

PS! My source says that the version you have is not available yet at service centres (at least when this is being written).

Cyber,

I think it is availiable on EMMA only with R&D dongle... at least my sources say so.

THE VERY GOOD NEWS IS:

There is search function in phonebook and what is better pressing C deletes the letters you have entered and not your Contact ... FINALLY!!!

And other good news is that there is not even slight delay when answering the call when picture is attached (I tested with lowest resolution camera picture).

THE BAD NEWS is that you are not able to legally upgrade to R2AE yet .

That is good news. They pulled R2AA003 due to that and officially claimed communication problems. My source said that people went crazy deleting contacts by mistake when pressing "C" and the "Yes"... the programmers messed up badly with that one, so your news is truly good news

>And other good news is that there is not even slight delay

This is the only bug I needed to be addressed

>THE BAD NEWS is that you are not able to legally upgrade
>to R2AE yet .

Well, that's what I meant when I wrote that my source informed me that it's not available at service centres [yet].

Thanks for the information!
