hi all, i recently got a SE s700 from O2 in UK, since ive never used a sim locked phone, i dont know how will i find out if its locked... the thing is i asked the saleslady and she said that it was locked... when i came home, i put in my bahraini(my home country) sim and called, and it was working..

so does this mean its locked?\

O2 don't lock their phones.
If it was locked when u put another Networks SIM in the phone would stop while loading up & say "Insert Correct SIM" or something similar & not reach the standby screen hence your phone is obviously unlocked

It certainly sound as if the the phone is unlocked if you could use another sim in it and make calls. O2 dont normally lock handsets (except the O2 X series) so you should be ok. The shop lady probably didnt know what you meant so said yes anyway.
