Hello guys,
These past few days, I've noticed that my phone (T68i) starts beeping 4 times then it displays INVALID MOBILE where my service operator is usually displayed. I can't make any calls or receive any text messages either. I have to turn off the phone then turn it on again then everything is fine.
Question is that is this a problem w/ my phone (R2B025) or my SIM card?
Thanks for any info.

it will have been blocked, in the u.k the network can only block a phone if they have the phone number and imei code. and thats if its benn reported stolen.

I'm not sure, but is your phone new or have you bought it off someone? If it's a stolen phone then I guess you might receive this message as the phone would have been blocked by a network when it was reported stolen. I haven't heard about this message before, maybe someone else knows what this message means.

I bought my phone brand new from a reputable shop here in Manila (Semicon).
The problem does not happen often but it is sometimes a pain because I may have missed important calls or text msgs.

Well it has happened to me maybe 2 times since I upgraded to the MMS software (R2B025). I don't know what the problem is though. My phone is also bought brand new.

It happens when you go off coverage. It has happened to me sometimes too.. but that is usually when I am just about to go off the coverage limits. Instead of saying no coverage it says variety of things. A restart usually fixes this bug.

I have also had this problem. It happend when I was connected to GPRS. Den I just removed the battery and restarted the phone, and everything was as usual.

Thanks for the info guys.
Update, I called my service provider and they advised me to put my phone on manual search mode instead of automatic..
Connect -> GSM Networks -> Search Mode -> Manual
Just did this now so I'm still seeing if this will do the trick.
As for going out of Network coverage, I sometimes don't get a signal inside my home and these incidents happen inside so maybe this has something to do with it also....
