All of a sudden, I can't go to any site (ie. yahoo, esato...etc) with Opera. I un-installed and re-installed already, and the upper right just says 'connected' and it's not returning the page. After a few minutes, it says 'www.yahoo.com could not be connected to the remote server'.

Then when I use BT, it dails and shows connected yet the yahoo page is blank.

I have not changed the internet GPRS setting and the default browser on P900 seems to be working fine.

Any input would be appreciated.

Same with me, I'm with Tmobile on $4.99 tzone and it seems they close the port 80. My internal browser still work fine.

@baseballfanz,

do you remember exactly when this happens? i have not used Opera for a while now until the last couple of days.

also, does it affect browsing the internet using BT? i swear i was able to browse a couple of days ago. now having connected via BT, my default yahoo home page just sits there with a blank screen.

can anyone else verify this?

carrier - T-mobile in the California
t-zones - $4.99 plan

I am also a TMobile user and Opera has been deader then disco these last two days. Crappy Internal browser still works and takes it's usual 2 minutes to download a single effing jpg.

I'd call Tmobile's customer service but they aren't edumacated on the P900

They're always like "oh we dont support that phone." and im like "yeah that's right I just miracled your sim card into this P900!"

Any new info would be appreciated.

it prolly still works for u cuz ur SUPPOSED to have internet, according to t-mobile if we buy the 4.99 we're not supposed to be able to access anything but the t-zones website which sucks balls, so it wouldn't make a difference to you. i actually took my p900 to t-mo once and showed the guy how i could do everything as the 19.99 plan and then he looked up my account and was impressed as well as promised me he wouldn't "snitch" on me.

@SFAGUY
It stopped working about a week ago, I was using it Tuesday 11-30, then woke up Weds. 12-1 and it stopped working (about the same time everyone else said port 80 was closed.)
@ResidentEvil,
It will only work for the full internet plans ($19.99) the basic Tzone $4.99 will not work.

I can't believe T-mobile has pulled yet another CHEAP trick on us again. Frist, it was the $0.15 per international SMS, now this.

Well, at least I am not crazy thinking I accidentally changed the GPRS settings.

As for my second question, when I use BT to connect to the internet now, my yahoo page is just BLANK. Is this also related to what T-Mobile did to our $4.99 plan with Opera? I swear it was working two days ago.

Damn, I am really upset at T-Mobile. You would think paying them $50/month would entitle me to have 1000 whenever minute, unlimited SMS, MMS and full internet access.

They are just too greedy. Unfortunately, Cingular is not any better either.

@Valmont1978
whenever i call customer service, they also give me the same dance 'oh, we do not support your phone, therefore it must be your phone that is causing this problem'. they are simply pathetic and lame to deploy such answer. i wonder if they were told to say that whenever it is a phone they don't support in order to cut down on the phone queue.
