Good day peeps! Is there anyway we could change the message alerts for the k500i...my friend has a p800 and i know she can change the message alerts but what about the k series (k500i specifically)?

unfortunately only the p series provide the ability to change message alert to something custom, for all other models we are stuck with what you see.
this questions was asked yesterday and is asked a couple of times a week in general and there is a big thread petitioning SE to allow this feature in future models

Let's reverse that question:My workmate owns a P900 and wants a message alert tone used by T610,T630,K700 and K500. On my k500, it is message alert tone 2. Anywhere to download this for her since it is not transferable?

Erm, yup!! U can get this sms tones .. ( but I can't tell u here unless u really wan it, pm me ( but i'm not so clear actually... ).
